This series of works is an experimental practice that started in March 2023. It started from the need for analog methods and experimentation in the home studio with prints that I already have some of which I have painted. I m exploring the concept of distortion in my photos with the technic of scanography.
By dragging the images at the point I choose, I m creating a unique and intentional distortion that transforms the original image into something new and interesting.
Transforming the images into something that is both recognizable and unfamiliar. This could be seen as a commentary on how our perception of reality can change when we look at something from a different perspective or with a different lens.
I am challenging my self perspective and looking to the image in a new way. Finally Im explore the concept of surrealism in my work.
