Digital and Analog Photography, Scanography, Collage, Personal Archive Images, Postcards. Through archival photographs and personal images, Alexandra Masmanidi builds a narrative about strength and vulnerability as conditions that coexist in the journey toward healing trauma. Using scanography and collage techniques, she composes images that combine the human and natural elements in a surreal way. In this manner, she creates a mysterious world where the female body takes on multiple forms, sometimes dynamic and sometimes dark, always claiming space to become visible. Masmanidi does not hide the cracks but focuses on the relationships of solidarity and the support networks that allow different emotions to be expressed in the process of claiming visibility.
